Bed Bugs! (Cute fuzzzy creatures we make ;)

Today was a crazy day.

We left at 9 am this morning from Kelowna and came here to Chilliwack BC.

I love the mountains!

Tonight at our event, we were anticipating approximately 70 girls. However, we only had 49 which was great!

I was able to make some really great connections tonight.

When we started the girls were all really rowdy. During discussion, i ended up taking three girls out into a more quiet area. All these girls had walls built up inside. They seemed to have a great deal of attitude and didnt really wnat to be there. After taking through discussion, I found out some more intimate and hurtful details about these girls. They had each beeen through alot. It was very sad.

Throughout the rest of the night I really got to connect with them and talk about things. It was great and I really enjoyed it.

During the prayer time I got to pray with one girl and God was totally there. Things were happening and it was good.

At the end of the night I felt that I should buy each of these three girls a bed bug (the team makes cute little fuzzy creatures called bed bugs) and write them a note. Everything in the note was things that I felt they each neeeded to be told.

God was moving tonight and it was so great to see how thankful they were and jsut how much they were able to open up. It was so encouraging!
