Sitting in a coffee shop!

At the moment, as you can tell from my title, I am sitting in a coffee shop.

I really enjoying coffee shops and the coffee that goes along with them! I also enjoy the fact that small town shops normally have almost a gallery aspect. I like looking at all the pictures and little things people make! So cool.

Yesterday we had a day off and it was so nice. I bought a book called "Forgotten God" by Francis Chan. Its about reversing the tragic neglect of the holy spirit. So far, I am reallly enjoying this book. VERY GOOD!

Tonight we have an event and its exciting to see what God has instore!

Monday we hit up B.C. which is sooooo exciting! I have always wanted to got to B.C. and see the mountains and soon i will!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D

For the past two days we have been in Regina. We had a sr. event on tuesday and a jr. event today. The sr. event was great and so was the jr. The jr. however, was sooo crazy! There were 30 of them but they were full of energy and very talkative.

ITS PRETTY CRAZY BEING US!!

God is good though and he shows us that everyday. its awesome.

Although it is great, it has been hard!

Its weird and frustrating at times to have nothing stable in your life. Its like taking everything that you have known and everything that is comfortable and throwing it out the window. Its like my life is an elastic and it is constantly being stretched.

Trust is also becoming more and more apart of my everyday life.

Trust that God will give me strength,

Trust that He will use me to be a light to the girls across the nation,

Trust that He will help me out financially,

Trust that He will let us all grow as a group,

And trust that I will continue to grow closer to him even when times are hard.

GOD is God!! :)

BTW, if anyone feels compelled to help out my team or support me in prayer or even financially just facebook or email me! :)

SMALL TOWN , SK!!

God is good.

Yesterday we had a crazy day. We had two events in one day. One event at 12 - 330 and one 430 - 9. God was moving. It was amazing for our whole team.

Jr. Events are great but my heart is for the Sr. events. The jr ones are meant more as a guiding friendship making but the sr events are meant to encourage and hopefully help them make decisions for Christ.

The jr event was great and God was there for sure. They were so cute and awesome to get to know. The sr however, was incredible. Before the event we all prayed and established separate goals and things we felt God wanted us to achieve at the sr event.

Prayer was pouring out and over. The whole time I was in prayer for the girls and leaders. During the discussion time, I decided to not go and help lead a group because I wasn't feeling called to do it. Instead, I sat back and prayed. I prayed over each individual and the things that I specifically felt they needed prayer for. So one by one I prayed for them. Once I went through, I prayed for the leaders and things I felt they needed. Then finally, I prayed for two specific members of our group that hadn't felt God move and his holy spirit empower them before. I began to pray for them and and specific needs and that the Holy Spirit would just enter in and take over them flooding through. I all the sudden felt that I should take one of them after and pray for them outside of the room. I did. At this point i was shaking a bit and crying and basically was a mess but it was a good mess :) haha After that was the speaking and worship portion of the night. During the worship, I went into this dark hall way and just started praising God praying that the Holy Spirit would enter the room and flood into the lives of each girl there including the leaders.

Finally when it came to prayer time, I went and instead of praying with a girl, I prayed with a team member that I was feeling called to pray for. Again just calling on the holy spirit asking him to fill her. All the sudden I had this surge of power and I could almost feel something happening. I then got the hugest grin on my face and we sat there a moment in silence. When we finished she said she had actually experienced God on a whole new level. Although it wasn't long she felt him. She saw the true beauty. She experienced the real eternal neverending unconditional love. It was beautiful.

God is so good and I am so thankful. I love being able to connect on new levels each day and thats what I am doing. Each day I ask for a new challenge and a new level that I can connect more to him. I love hearing him speak. Its the most incredible amazing part of this journey. I love being totally in love with a God that cares more for us then anything else. It brings tears to my eyes just trying to grasp how big, deep, wide, and strong his love is. Our God is truly an awesome God that cares so much for us. I am so thankful for each moment I get in his presence.

God is good.

NORTHERN LIGHTS

On friday( day after event), we went and packed up our stuff at the church because we didn't the night before. We then helped them set up for their church on sunday. We did set-up till about three then we all went out for McDonalds ice-cream. On the event day, we had a couple volunteers help us setup. A mother and her 20 yr old son named J.P. While out on the town around mcds, we met up with them and decided we should hang out! Sooo later that evening, Cecilia and I decided to go throw a football around. J.P. then showed up and he was throwing it around with us. Great time. We did this for about 2-3 hours till about 11-1130.

The next day was saturday. Cecilia, Kayla, JP and I went out and decided that we were going to go to every shop in the down town.. (about all of a five minute walk) We then went out for lunch and it was great! :) After that, Cecilia challenged JP to some 1 on 1 basketball. I got to take pictures and quite enjoyed it. Then JP joined us for supper and it was fun!

Sunday was awesome! We got up and were a little stunned to find out we had to go to church for 9:15 and were gunna be there till 12:30ish… Anyways. For such a small church it was not bad. The music was great and the prayer time was amazing. To see a church have such faith is just encouraging.

SUNDAY = 2 X TURKEY

Sunday evening was fantastic. We went to my dream house. Log cabin (logs from B.C.) with blue and while modern contemporary style. It was just fabulous. ANWYAS every sunday evening, Dan and Lana host this night were people can come and play music, have coffee, share stories, and just be together. While there I got to meet a bunch more people.

Monday was also a great day! We went to the Flin Flon tower and climbed it with a bunch of people. After that we went back to Pat and Jacks and some watched the football game and others just hung out. Later on, JP had invited us for super and he was makin it. SO, we head over to his place he had made a couple different dishes. They were sooo good! Jenn, Courtenay, and Kayla all decided to leave but Cecilia and I decided to stay for another hour or so. Well, when we went to take JP's friend to work at 1030, we didn't end up being brought home… we went out for a drive and stopped somewhere and … I SAW NORTHERN LIGHTS! favourite thing ever!!!! eke!! anyways, when we finally did get home we just ended up talking in the driveway for another hour or so.. goodbyes all stink.

I think the toughest thing is gettin used to sayin goodbye. Normally we are only in a house for a night but being in one place for five days meeting new people making new friends is really hard. Its weird and hard not having anything stable in my life right now other than my relationship with God. Without that where would i BE?!

Pat and Jack (our billets) were soooo nice! They made us all feel like home and we were so thankful to be appart of their thanksgiving. Such a sweet couple. They basically let us take over the downstairs of their house.

Today was a good day, We got up and left Flin Flon at like 10 and then went to Prince Albert for a couple hours. Cecilia and I were going to get a piercing but then it didnt end up working out so we went to a couple art galleries and to a coffee house.

Now we are in Nipawin. Our billiets here are AMAZING aswell! WE ARE SO BLESSED!

As soon as we met her, she took us to the grocery store to grab some treats. Cecilia almost died because there was....=----->> EGG NOG... apparently her favourite... You wouldnt be able to tell if you watched her drink it... i mean one glass down in 30 seconds? no clue... haha anyways, tonight we played pool, had egg nog and teddy grahams, and Cecilia had a hot tub. Like it here alot... EXCITED FOR OUR EVENT TOMORROWWW!!! .. IM SPEAKING AGAIN!!!

ANWYAS, God has decided to re-write my story..AGAIN so Im off to sstudy that.

Here for a reason?

At the moment, I am in Flin Flon. Still.

Last night in Flin Flon, we had an amazing event with 24 girls from grades 8-11.

At the begining of the night, the girls were all majorly distracted and were not willing to listen very easily. Flin Flon just seems to be one of those spiritual depressed places. The girls seemed to be having this emotional battle going on almost the whole time. Once Cecilia started speaking however, the girls started to calm down. When it got to the prayer time it was just amazing.

Cecilia got talking to a couple of girls and they ended up dedicating their lives to Christ. So encouraging.

I also had an amazing night.

There was a girl that had come to the night that was on her own. She didn't come with any friends or anything. it was prayer time Ifelt like I should go pray with her. I felt bad for her and she was wiping tears from her eyes. So, I went up to her and asked if I could pray for her. She said she had never prayed before and that the only reason she came was because she thought it would just be a fun night away from the house.
Anyways, she said I could pray with her.
We prayed and I could feel this tension and burden just being lifted off of her. It was amzing. After we finished praying, I asked her if she had a bible. She said no. I asked her if she would like one and she said that she would as she smiled. :D I went and grabbed her a bible and told her I would buy it for her. I then just showed her a couple verses and wrote down my fb if she ever need to talk to anyone.

It was an amzing night and I totally loved it.

This is what I love doing.

This and music. I honestly hope one day I can combine all these things!!

NOW, about where I am... Flin Flon

basically you get to Flin flon and the hiway ends, cant go more north.

We were supposed to be staying in the Pas for four nights however, due to an outbreak of bed bugs in the pas, we are going to be stayin in Flin Flon till next tuesday.

The biggest blessing is that we get to actually be with a family for thanksgiving. The pastor at the local church. Turkey dinner!! :)

The sad part is, I have no cell service, little opportunity to use a computer, and numerous other things...

INCLUDING

I searched Flin Flon tourist attractions and the first thing that showed up was:

Walmart

Walmart?! yes... appparently thats a tourist atraction now.

This town has a walmart, home hardware building center, thrift shop, dollar store, jean wear house, coffee shop, canadian tire and two grocery stores.

I would like to point out that we have already been to walmart three times...

ANYWAYS
NO BED BUGS. :D

so here I will remain... no service.....no internet.... no shopping......no local attractions....no tv......

BUT i am thankful :)

We must be here for a reason right?

LOTS

Okay,

Yesterday was my first time speaking in front of the BUgirl girls.

That was our first event that had 66 girls....

AHHH

all these girls were bettweeeennnn 8-14. CRAZY.

Something really cool though, is that that morning, God decided I should write a new story and tell that. SO instead of talking about stress I ended up talking about gossip. BUT it went really good :)

Today was a better event though :)

We had a Sr. event and the girls all really participated and were really changed. They had an amazing prayer time and it was amazing to get to pray with these girls and encourage them in a spiritual way. I LOVED IT :D

Tomorrow however, is our first day off. I can hardly wait. It will be our first in five days.

this is a typical set up for an event!!

ENJOY

VERY LONG TIME!! I AM IN SASKATCHEWAN!!

Okay,

been awhile i know..

Now that we are on the road it is hard finding internet.
FINALLY I HAVE IT THOUGH!

A ton has been happening lately!!

Events everywhere are so different and can impact so many different types of girls.
We have had girls that were molested, a girl thats been raped by her step dad (she is 14 and no w because of the raping has a two year old), and girls that have been hurt in many different ways.

Each event I think a piece of my heart gets torn out and spread. Its hard!!

It is so amazing to see just how God can use every one of us though in some way.

We left for our official tour a few days ago and we are in Saskatchewan.

We have been to Carlyle, Weyburn, and Gravelbourg. (BTW half these places dont have cell service...)

Tonight we are in Gravelbourg and we just finished a JR event. Today was a hard day for our team. Almost every member got attacked in one way or another. Although it was discouraging, we still did the event and God pulled through as always.

I think one of the coolest things we do as a team is pray about who should speak at the upcoming event. The best thing ever is when we all get the same person and we truly know just who God wants to use.

Tomorrow will be my first day talking....

PRAYERS ACCEPTED LOL

I am working on my story now so we will see how it goes!

SIDE NOTE: i wish i could be home to see hunting videos and hear stories and to say goodbye to Kurt, Lynn, Hudson, Everett, and Jude.

ANYWAYS!

need to go look through and memorize my story!
